Bushi Kempo Ju Jitsu
Bushi Kempo Ju Jitsu is for everyone interested in self-defence, from absolute beginner to high level black belt expert. All ages of men, women and children — with all levels of fitness — have found friendly support in our club.
We teach the unarmed combat techniques of striking with punches and kicks, throwing, arm and joint locks, ground fighting, chokes and strangles.
We teach defence against attack by knife or club and we use traditional weapons in some of our techniques and katas. Weapons include nunchaku (rice flails), bo (long staff), bokken (wooden sword), and katana (Japanese sword).

Combat Drills for Next Level Fitness Training
This class is aimed at people who like a tough workout, which is challenging mentally and physically.
Each week there are different exercise drills for flexibility, speed and power — all the elements you need to take your fitness to the next level.
The class structure is in three parts over an hour and a half, and each part lasts 30 minutes…
- Fitness training circuits using bodyweight or various types of equipment.
- Pad work drills as used in boxing training (not sparring).
- Combat training which is based on simple self-defence moves, while keeping high intensity throughout. Includes ground-fighting.
If you’d like to come for just the first hour, that’s fine.
Please call Nell on 07790 511 473 if you’d like to chat about joining a class or need more information. Thanks!
